Got a big job finishing around Easter, so fancy a getaway. Goa may be on the list. Fancy somewhere slightly away from the hordes - Ashwem/Ashvem beach area seems like it might tick some boxes.
Seems best time to go to Goa is Nov-March, so we'd be hitting the tail end.
Any views/experiences?

Hot/humid possible begining of the rain.
Go end of november/dec or start of january, as sparkyrhino says it can get helluva humid n' sticky at the start of the monsoon season, i dunno what palolem beach is like nowadays but back in 2002/3 it was pretty idyllic

Wev'e been 5 times but always go mid January. Also I'm not sure when the beach shacks pack up. (there's/was a good one on Morjim Beach just down from Ashwem called The Lovely Jubbly).
