kerbs offer more of a technical challenge than the Quantocks.

i don't see any shame there at all.

I'm not sure laying down shouting 'spank me! spank me!' is going to get the best out of people.

Play hard to get.

Was this riding off a kerb or simply walking off it?

What tyres for Qunatocks?

What flat (non spd) shoes for Bristol?

EDIT: Sorry Pete, I'm not very good at being mean (or funny).

DD, yes and yes. Not too painful now but I can't walk on it for another couple of weeks yet. It's a minor fracture apparently. Got me one of those removelable walking braces, but I can't put any weight on it yet

It was on the old pre-hacked forum, if you can't remember it, then it was probably not during one of those few periods when you weren't banned. I can't believe that PP doesn't remember though 😉

I do remember something Ernie, but I can't remember anything other than pee-taking, nothing specific. Was it that long ago? It's a good jacket, always been 100% waterproof, and it's never been as bright as it looked. 🙂

It was a PSA on here, lots of people bought one at the time. Berghaus Paclite Goretex for £40 = Not to be sniffed at. 🙂

Ohhhh, the HOWIES one! No, not a womens one, but light blue and grey yes. I still have it. It's seen some use has that. Good bit of kit. Again, PSA on here IIRC. I know a couple of others with the same jacket, both blokes.....

Yep that's it. There was nothing inherently wrong with it, it's just that you were exceptionally enthusiastic about it 'cause it was a bargain, which provided a cue for everyone to take the p*ss 😀

So, if your leg's duff....

Do you fancy servicing some forks if I get 'em? 8)

I'll lend you my left leg. Or pay you. Whichever you'd prefer...

Seems that it's always when I do the simple things, I done a thousand times before, I don't really pay attention and cop it.

Those curbs are sneaky bastards as well.

Any good pics ❓

Cheers for the kind comments chaps.... 🙂
I've had enough of sitting around so we've been out all day here and there, I'm getting quite handy with the crutches now my shoulders are used to it. I'm going to keep my weight off it as long as I possibly can to give it the best chance to heal but I need to be able to walk on it by 28th May and ride by 22nd June.....

As no one else has sent you the usual healing vibe why dont you just MTFU and put on a support bandage and get out for a ride 😆
get used to the look of the boot as thats what you will have to wear all the time now you have a weak ankle-at least thats what happened to me when I snapped my ligaments. Joking aside hope it heals well for you and quickly, nothing worse than not being able to get out and ride especially whilst the weather is still being kind to us all....
