Thinking of heading to the glentress area with some mates (5-7 guys) for a mountain biking weekend at the beginning of May and would be looking for some overnight accommodation (either a Fri + Sat or just a Sat night)

Came across the wigwams on site which look ok http://www.glentressforestlodges.co.uk/ Says they can sleep 5, not sure if that's a cozy 5?

Anyone got any views/experiences or alternative suggestions? (cheap is always good lol)

Hydro something hotel in Peebles. Good food, great hospitality, late bar, really good rooms, and not too expensive!

Glentress Hotel. Right on the doorstep, good food, good service. I stayed there during a LeJog last year and they could not have been more helpful.
