They are the contacts that pick up from the overhead power cables when the giraffes are in high speed mode.

Duh!

I think I know, but I wouldn't want to stick my neck out.

WiFi aerial.

BRB, I'm just going to empty the coffee out of my keyboard.

Handal does look like he's trying to grow some. Sadly I never got a chance to try riding him.

Udders perhaps? It would make them difficult to milk would explain why you can't buy giraffe cheese* in Tesco.

*Don't know if it is available in the boutiques of Marple.

in the bush they team up up 2's and stretch stuff across between the "humps" as a very effective catapult when hunting Lions

It's where they keep their donuts. No pockets, see.

Internal Bluetooth as standard. 3G Only if you pay extra. Bit like the iPad.

Their antlers are there when they are young. But young giraffes hide and are rarely seen.

Ok so it's bone, but what purpose do they serve, other than to bring all the STW comedians out the closet? 😀

yes they're bone, but they're also stacked full of nerves.... if you sit on top of a G-raf then you can control them using their head like a remote control for a RC car (left/right, forward/reverse)... some aren't as advanced and are a bit screwy... still a firm punt on the top of either left or right makes the corresponding front leg dart up like this:

Harry you should know by now that Marple is stuck in a time warp and has only just got a decent cafe (that last bit may not be true).

Were any giraffes harmed in the writing of this thread?

None harmed, but a couple may have become mildly perturbed at people trying to ride them.

I was at the Zoo today and had the same thought so I enquired..

The Giraffes got quite offended and muttered amongst themselves about my nipples..
