As it's been a while since the last one and we've got two band threads going on how about a gigs and festivals thread?

I've got a few lined up so far:

24th September The View @ Wedgewood Rooms Portsmouth

2nd October Kassassin Street @ Lennons Southampton

3rd November The Computers @ Joiners Southampton

14th November iNDEPENDENCE Festival @ Southampton uni (First year it's run with loads of great up and coming bands recommend it if you're local)

9th December The Computers @ Oslo in Hackney

I'm going to see King Crimson in 2 weeks time, up in Edinburgh.
Past that I've got tickets for Walter Trout and Motorhead (if Lemmy lasts long enough)

I'm overloaded with gigs in the next few months. Can't remember having this many lined up in years. I have tickets to see Editors and Father John Misty in Cambridge, Foals, Slaves, The Maccabees, Public Service Broadcasting and The Charlatans in Norwich, John Grant in London and Foals (again) in Margate. Not to mention Lollapalooza festival in Berlin next weekend (although it's an awful line up IMHO!).

I'm going to see The English Beat (the US one) in Bournemouth next Tues, then The Beat (the English one) in Salisbury next month.

Two-up two-tone. Cool!

Some one man show based on Breaking Bad

Gigs
Motley Crue, could be described as bad

I've got nothing lined up at the moment. Maybe Ulrich Schnauss at the end of October. Nothing's really grabbing me recently.

Blaze used to ride a fair bit back in 2003 or so... had an Ellsworth Joker, rode over in Cannock a fair bit.

I've got The Bluetones this month, U2 in October, Shed Seven, The Inspiral Carpets and The Charlatans in December.

Metric, Leftfield, Above & Beyond over 3 months in Birmingham, then Faithless in Manchester.

Always seem to have a great selection of gigs booked on the run up to Christmas.
