ok i know how to get songs of a Mac formatted ipod onto a mac... and how to get them from a windows formatted ipod on to a pc... but how do i get the songs from a ma formatted ipod onto a pc?
I'd be interested to know the answer to this aswell. From my experience, a Mac formatted ipod will not do anything with a pc until it's been reformatted and hence loose all the data on it.
We just took the data back onto a mac, e-mailed it to the pc and formatted and reloaded.
You'll need software that allows windows to recognize the Macintosh hard drive format (HFS Plus). [url= http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive/ ]Macdrive[/url] is one that springs to mind. There may be free alternative available.
Presumably you should then be able to use the same software that you use to remove music from a Windows format iPod.
