Someone here has mentioned that the Met Office has been hacked.  Although I didn't think the BBC used Met data these days?

The BBC use MeteoGroup these days apparently. Who are also forecasting hurricane force winds here in Hertfordshire. The rain still does appear to be falling vertically in the normal fashion so I'm going to assume the local trampolines are safe for the time being.

The BBC switched from the Met Office in 2018 after 94 years.

There was a news report this morning saying that their forecast data was faulty.
