I get the impression good manners on here suggest I should introduce myself before posting a begging message asking for help choosing a bike. So here goes;
My name is Chris. I ride XC ('05 Claud Butler Cape Wrath) and road (Giant Defy). I'm struggling with a hip injury after getting hit by a car last September on my Giant.
(now for the stuff you can pick at) I'm tall, overweight, was ginger, now balding - plenty of ammo there along with my bike choices surely?
Interesting fact 1 - I once met Diane-Louise Jordan of Blue Peter fame. Fact 2 - I'm hoping to complete the Three Peaks in June if the hip gets better.
