I used Gatwick mid stay car park this morning and when i left, the electronic sign said pay within 48 hours.

Anyone know how I can pay? I didn't book so have no reference.

Go on the Gatwick web site and pop your reg in. Annoyingly, Manchester has this system for T1 and T2, but not T3, as that's pay as you leave.

Oh, and DON'T FORGET.  I assume this is how they are going to make money, and lots of it.

I tried that but it only shows me going through the drop off and pick up area. Not the actual carpark.

Its frustrating because the phone number for Gatwick says press the following number for parking, then the line goes dead. Been trying all day.

Guess I'll have to just wait for a letter in the post and hope its not an obscene amount.

Do you not have to pay for drop off/pick up at Gatwick? Be surprised if they've not cottoned on to that revenue stream. I'd pay for that if possible, keep the receipt and dispute any further charges with that as proof of payment.

Already paid the drop off charges. I'm all for paying for the carpark since I was in it for about 20 mins. Just cant find a way to pay.

I need to pay for the car park. Not drop off.

Don't worry about it, theres always chance the cameras didn't read your plate. Even if you do get a PCN it's only enforceable against the driver (airport land so outside the scope of POFA so they cant hold the keeper liable)  not the keeper. So unless you tell them who was driving (and theres no legal obligation to do so) they're stuck. Stupid flawed legislation but works in your favour.

Camera definitely worked; the screen on entry and exit showed my registration. Just annoying theres no way to pay on the day or after. Even though it said to pay within 48 hours. Which is about 8am tomorrow.

I guess i could make a video of me trying to call and showing the line goes dead each time.

You said you were in there about 20 minutes is it just that there is a 20 minute freebie bit and you're not showing up to pay because you took less than that?
