currently with Scottish Power, who seem intent on losing me as a customer by putting my bills up on a more than regular basis. Now I can't argue that its been a tad chilly this winter and I've used more gas than last year, but whilst a number of other power companies were announcing cuts in gas prices over last 6 months SP haven't done nowt. So I'm exercising my right to move on, clearly my useage may not be yours but customer service and online ability are good cards to be holding, so who's any good and who's for the chop?

The domestic sales part of E.ON are putting in a lot of effort improving what was already a pretty good, (compared to most of the other 'big 6') customer service. Research suggests that it is having some genuine effect and prices are keen too.

However if you don't want the hassle of changing supplier, you should at least ring up ever 12 months or so and check you are on the best tariff that your current company offer. Duel fuel and DD payment gets you the best prices.
Ecotricity are great. Same price as the competitors, but it is possibly a bit more environmentally friendly, and as a bonus, the customer service phone lines go to a person, not a computer system.
