[Closed] Gas and Electric - British Gas?

My 4 yr protected period has ended with E.on who have been quite good with us. I have been looking around at other suppliers and have had a quote from British Gas - there new discounted rate seems better than my eon renewal and there is no tie in.

Also I would get the energy smart meter for free and they have an iphone app for monitoring your usage etc which sounds like the geeky stuff I like doing.

Does anyone here use there new discount rate and energy meter - what are they like, any opinions
