Daughter convinced Mrs101 to have a Lily2 watch in place of her years old failing Fitbit. Mostly to record her swimming activities as she has gone back to the pool.
Looks great but makes life absolutely 10 times more complicated for her as she has no interest of tapping constantly adjusting pool sizes, phone apps that never stop adversplaining another feature she should be using.
She has it now, no going back, so question is can she strip it back to simple numbers about metres swam and steps walked. She isn't a big tech fan, just wants the app to tell her some basic stuff and the watch to operate simply.
Her friend occasionally swims with her and she is a proper fish yet always has less metres on the clock, prompting questions about settings and adjusting pool size. This has lead her to question the whole point of it.
No amount of youtube unboxing bloggers have explained anything useful so far.
I would assume you have to put the pool length in to get an accurate swim length, presumably the gps would struggle to be that accurate if it’s an indoor pool?
