I reckon Arya will return to Westeros, diguise as many faces and tick off her kill list.
Also, I love this
The death of each one (of the direwolves) relates to a key moment in the life or death of its owner.
had never occurred to me before but it fits. There are only 2 living direwolves left! it'd be cool if Arya & her wolf came together again, perhaps for the final battle?
interesting theory here: http://www.vulture.com/2016/05/game-of-thrones-direwolves-sad-state.html
Arya, who is learning to fight, named hers after the fiercely independent warrior princess of the Rhoyne โ Nymeria. According to legend, Nymeria had 10,000 ships to her name, which she used to lead her people (mostly women) across the Narrow Sea to find a new home, wandering for years until they settled in Dorne. (Her heirs are the Martells.) Arya and her direwolf Nymeria both have wandered on their own since Arya sent Nymeria away, and since Arya was set free herself. And both have become killers. In the books, Nymeria went off to form a very large wolfpack โ perhaps we'll see this wolfpack on the show, or perhaps Arya will one day reunite with her wolf, and/or her siblings, once again.
Trailers are for the WEAK!Bring it on fresh and new next week
Have to agree on this. Much better to come to an episode fresh.
In fact, I duck out of the thread to avoid the trailer chat, as consider them a bit spoiler-y.
Spoilers are great. I'm ashamed to say I read the books (ashamed in a snobby rarely dips to middlebrow reading let alone fantasy rendered in finest Hollywood mediaeval kind of way, damn that narrative drive...) Also I don't like jeopardy, mild peril or surprises, whilst quite liking violence. So this series is relatively stressful to watch as I don't know what's going to happen next. Basically, keep those spoilers coming.

Genius.
Kind of figured he was getting written out as I noticed a few weeks ago that he's sporting a new facial tattoo in real life. They could've CGI'd it out I guess
...I noticed a few weeks ago that he's sporting a new facial tattoo in real life.
New as in additional to the stars on the side of his forehead? if it is the stars then they've been covering it up with Hodor's (RIP) scar for a while. Gotta save that CGI budget for the army of the dead.
Kind of figured he was getting written out
He's not been written out - this was George Martin's plan for his character all along.
Watch from 5:10
I'm still pissed at Bran.
I hope Ramsey cuts his dick off.
I hope Ramsey cuts his dick off.
I hope Bran wargs into Ramsey and makes him cut his own dick off.
I don't think anyone died tonight.
Personally lovey this series, lots going on, lots moving along and lots getting ready to go off. Almost as it'll they are giving him time to finish the book
No they didn't Kiwijohn, but someone came back from the dead. Only he wasn't dead.
I had a feeling he might come back, a disappearance just seemed a bit lame. The Hound will also come back at some point and will probably be the one to put an end to Frankenmountain.
Whats the bets that Arya uses her faceless skills to come back as the hound to kill the Mountain?
I think she is just pissed off she didn't get to shut joffrey up. That and a hint as to what happened to Sansa
Ian McShane's let himself go a bit (I didn't recognise him, to be honest)
Ooh, dragontastic!
I thought the thing with Arya blowing out the candle and sleeping with needle was that she's knows the other girl will come for her and she can use her blind skills to kill her . Maybe
I enjoyed tha pace of this one. Didn't seem as rushed and had some meaty dialogue.
I hope Bronn's mention means he's coming back, even if Jamie's plan was rubbished
The guy's in his 70s, give him a break.Ian McShane's let himself go a bit (I didn't recognise him, to be honest)
Was it me or did needle look a lot longer than previously? This whole mission is probably some kind of test and her killing the girl who has helped train her will be part of it.
hmmm Less sex, less violence, less gore, and not as in depth as previous seasons imo and feels a little teenish not as adult.

No - what you going to do send the Mountain after me?

Less Sex, Violence and Gore actually make it less teenish for me. Bit more grown up as opposed to Adult.
Things like Ramsey and his Step Mother/Half Brother taking a trip to pet the dogs. Saw nothing implied a lot, was a very well put together scene.
Everyone has been off doing their own story, everyone has been up to stuff, about time it worked it's way around to sorting out some loose ends and turning the focus back to the main act.
We are primed for a proper war, North back on the turn, Lannisters in trouble and then those out east coming back. Arya about to kick on for a revenge mission and the New Iron king about to get his arse handed to him and his ships nicked by the dragons. (all probably)

this
more implied, less wiped in your face

He wasn't actually in ep.6, it was a feeble attempt at a fake spoiler. ๐
Or was he......
Background of a market scene you can see him, selling second hand stuff on a stall.
It wasn't a stall - it was the back of a volvoselling second hand stuff on a stall

I had same thought.
I think they spent the CGI budget on the dragon. That looked pretty good.
Does Sams dad know the significance of Valarian steel?
In what way - you mean the White Walkers? I guess nobody suspects that except Sam and Mr Snow - Tarly snr like most in the 7 Kingdoms don't believe in the White Walkers full stop.anagallis_arvensis - MemberDoes Sams dad know the significance of Valarian steel?
So why the pride in valarian steel?
It's expensive? ๐
Top quality steel, not much of it left really. Stuff of the old folks which just turns out to be decent at killing special stuff
I thought it was an OK episode, moved a lot of different story lines on but could have had a bit more action in it.
I'm hoping the Arya story moves back to her seeking revenge, aided by her new assassin skills - not sure it needs the added dimension of her being pursued by the other girl though.
I think it's reached a point there's too many parallel story lines now - not in a sense it's too complicated to follow but that you stop caring about some of them as you're waiting for big stuff to happen in others.
Nobody knows how to make it any more - it's a lost art (based on Damascus Steel in the real world).anagallis_arvensis - MemberSo why the pride in Valarian steel?
I hope Sam uses that sword to go and wazz his tosspot dad's head off before he leaves. What a Tuesday. ๐
So Jon, Sam and Brienne have sooperdooper swords and Joffrey had one but we are not sure what he did with it?
