Hi All
Have any of you smart guys looked into this at all? Was reading about it in the paper the other day, but would be interested to know if you had any further insight or opinions.

you might as well buy a tracker with a 0.5% fee.

Give me 1% of your money and put the rest in the bank.

If you want to invest in a tracker then Fidelity is cheapest at .25% per annum. Terry Smith is a smart operator but I don't think he has been a fund manager previously, however if you are going to invest in a fee heavy fund then use a wrapper such such Hargreaves Lansdowne where initial fees (typically used to pay IFA commission) are refunded.
