Father in law gets us big bags of frozen sausages from work, cook from frozen no probs.

As iDave says low grade food stuffs but sometimes you just want greasy fatty gristle in a tube and they don't disappoint. nyom nyom.

Ever thought about a career in copywriting for one of the big convenience food manufacturers?

Everyone knows what they are but they still eat 'em.

Apparently sausages are bucking the recession and sales have increased!

It's "de-frosted" my sausage as it were.

Maybe were just weird but when travelling in NZ, you couldn't get a decent sausage for love nor money, too much meat and not enough gristle/fat to give em flavour & make em tasty...

Nothing wrong with a good frozen sausage.

I get mine from the local butcher, then freeze them into portions. Very tasty cooked slowly from frozen and virtually no fat compared to pre-packed frozen stuff.

Could be because burgers are thinner than a good meaty sausage so the centre of the burger would defrost and cook before the outside becomes ash. Whereas a sausage would remain uncooked in the middle and napalmed on the outside.

No doubt someone who actually knows the truth will be along shortly.

Forget sausages and burgers, what some of you lot need is a bit of liver. And a jar.
