On my iphone on Firefox it's a bit awkward to use.
The pop up box is too wide to use in portrait so the phone has to be flipped which then is a pain to use for text so has to be flipped back.

I've upped the file size limit to 10mb.
We have to be careful with this due to the fact that we don't store 10mb images. During the upload the file is crushed down to a maximum size of 1024x1024 pixels with a jpg quality of 70%. The bigger the limit on file size we set the more overall work the server has to do to handle the compression.

When I was having problems yesterday the files were definitely not too large, but there did seem to be a delay between hitting Submit and the photo appearing - sometimes it just didn't. This could be related to the compression process? I'll try again later today and let you know if I gain any more insight.
The popup lightbox when clicking on someone's image only works when I'm logged in. Is this intentional?

@ossify - It's an Ingrid 11-44 12s that fits onto a Shimano HG freehub. 320g, but good lordy is it expensive.

It seems more reliable if you wait a second or so before hitting the OK button.
If the photo hasn't popped up in "preview" at that point, just go back to the Image button, Folder button and try again.
Cambridgeshire residents will recognize this.
Had a couple of issues posting direct from Mac photos app due to size, but looks all good now.
That pic tho has made me pine for Molini!

Uploads aside, how does one link to an image these days?
Use the IMG insert button on the Text editor tab.
In many cases you can just paste the direct image url in the editor and it will render out as a hotlinked embedded image. You can also paste the image url into the source box in the image upload popup.
