Full members should now be able to upload images directly to the forum instead of needing to embed a link to an external image.
Just click on the image icon in the post menu bar and then click the folder icon.
There are some conditions. You need to have the rights to post any images. ie. don't grab images from the internet and upload them to our server. We've updated our T&Cs to lay down the rules on that. Don't put us in a copyright situation please. Also, initially at least, until we see how it gets used, there are limits on file size (6mb), images per reply (5) and total images in on topic (60). This are pretty arbitrary at this point and we'll tweak as we go.
Images uploaded to our server will open in a pleasant lightbox style when clicked.

Thanks. That will significantly reduce the faff of first uploading to a hosting site, then linking to it.
I noticed this the other day when posting on the Friday photy thread. Would never have seen it if postimg hadn't been unavailable!
So it's any forum member rather than just them special subscriber members, which is nice.

Nice. Maybe I'll contribute to a weekend ride thread one day now. Even though I'm neither a expert photographer or high value target, I've never been happy giving my images away to some poopbox free image hosting site for them to monetise however they wish.
Still have the issue of not riding enough and forgetting to take photos.

@stwhannah - the MNPR has been given the Frankenstein treatment and risen from the dead, so the posters are indeed back. And I was indeed spoilt for choice this week, but I've given Silvio the nod, just for the entertainment value he's been over the years 😀
