I've been asked to put a website together which will allow confidential communication for a group of residents in an upmarket development. I'm thinking a secure forum would pretty much do the job - username/password for access, admin/moderator to verify user ids, PM facility.
Any recommendations for hosting such a forum? Free would be good but I'm pretty sure they'd be prepared to pay for increased date security and integrity - I've had experiences of free forums going tits up and losing all the user data and postings so proper backups a must.

Have been using [url= http://www.webwizguide.com/webwizforums/ ]webwiz forums[/url] for years now with around 100 active members at any time.
Using the free package uploaded onto our hosting site and not had any problems yet. The only time it went down was host issues not the forum software
