I saw this phrase used on the bull thread and was perplexed. What is one?

I'm guilty of having used the phrase...and was shown to be completely talking out of my arse regarding the context in which I was using it. It's a feeling I've gotten used to over time.

I'd say I'm a forum lightweight, but also a forum veteran as I've been on here since 2003.

Err Im not a forum heavyweight- my arguments are paper-thin and I get bored of arguments after the initial spark. Only TJ holds the accolade. He could take you into being a Gay if he wanted to.

I still reckon I'm the only person that's managed to make him admit he might be wrong.

I reckon TJ is the heavyweight champion of STW.

He'll argue for the rest of time, has read every peer reviewed journal article ever produced, and seems to be on here every hour of the day and night.

TBH Ton's like a mate's politically incorrect Dad. If you were having dinner at his house, it'd be chicken, just so he could ask you if you like leg or breast 😆

I wanted to know what people thought a 'forum heavyweight' might be, not who they are.

'Heavyweight' suggests some kind of power or stature. 'Forum heavyweight' sounds a bit like 'best chocolate teapot maker' to me. See what I mean?

SFB, TJ, Elfinsafety, Ernie Lynch, etc (i'm sure there is more) they generally have a powerful point of view on life and aren't afraid of expressing/defending it in one way or other. Which is pretty admirable, imo. Most people don't even know what cereal they are supposed to buy.
