I agree we have to take it at face value, but also agree somewhat with "there's no smoke etc".
I suspect it will never go away and will always follow him around....and more details will eventually leak out
Meh, where’s there’s smokes there’s fire.
What allegation and rumour should we start circulating about you?

both his dogs are Bichon Frise, one called Tibbert the other, Flaps
Kinda not seeing the transparency that's been called for. Wonder if there'll be an appeal?

Its all there in the annals of STW, feel free to regurgitate, you won't shock anyone who's been regular here for a while.
I'm no fan of Horner and admit that there would be some schadenfreude in his downfall, but if RB have done a proper impartial assessment and dismissed the allegations then I'm not sure what they can say to appease the doubters. Maybe there will be an appeal, maybe someone else will come forward with a "me too" but for now I'll take this at face value and carry on disliking him for (many) other reasons.
Back to racing…
Woody is going to have a hard couple of seasons ahead of him. He’ll have huge pressure to beat Lewis this season to prove he can lead the team. Then next season he could be up against the next wonder-kid and will be expected to comfortably beat him too.
Really looking forward to FP sessions tomorrow - I’ll have it on in the background at work.
Obvs it’s early, but Merc straight to the top of the timings….
Back to situation normal
For some entertainment - NASCAR does F1 level aero cheating: https://www.autosport.com/nascar-cup/news/joey-logano-faces-severe-nascar-penalty-for-glove-safety-violation/10579826/
It's worth listening to the Beyond The Grid Podcast about Horner being cleared...they reiterated that the allegations are out there in the wild and are bound to come out - it's not going to go away
This afto will be the representative session when they do trial qualifying runs.
If the allegations are found to have been malicious then I hope the appropriate actions will be taken.
⬆ needs a like button
Mercedes and Mclaren both brought quite a lot of upgrades.
They're all still miles off last years pole time but nothing looking majorly bad yet.
Riccardo on top at the end of FP1
50p says that Zac Brown mentions RB owning two teams in the post test media briefing
On soft tyres...unlike merc, red bull etc
Some nice shots on this vid showing the undercut/air inlets on the RB20.
So Mercedes new hot-shot has just qualified 18th for his first F2 race! 🤣
Good job they dumped an 8x world champ for this guy.
Probably over-optimistic.......but........ 😛🤞
please please lets have a battle this year!!

2nd that - I don't care who is in the battle. Any battle will do!
Now of this accusation is what people think it is/was, shouldn’t it have gone to the Police as a possible cyber flashing?
Alice Powell on 5Live, pondering whether Red Bull have just wound everything down and waiting for qualifying before blowing everyone into the weeds.
I wonder where that leaked info (assuming it's true/correct) will leave Red Bull & Karen!?

Depends on the backbone of FIA/Liberty - so they'll probably be fine. In an alternative universe they'd get an absolute kicking for bringing the sport into disrepute
Story is confirmed by multiple quality journos now.
Obv not sure if the data is legit/complete however.
I did say...
To know all the email addresses of all those top F1 people and journos, it's gone to be from someone very well connected.
...Toto and Zak have been expressing their dislike of the opaque nature of the investigation.
On 5 live Benson said he'd not been paying attention to FP2 because of something he couldn't share publicly. Guess he was on the distribution list for that email.

has anyone seen Bernie today?

I was thinking more along the lines of investors like Ford etc. holding a dim view if it turns out, it's not quite as cut & dry as implied by the official investigation.

That could just be an extension of what I said. FIA/Liberty bust them, Ford runs a mile, RBR starts falling apart... or nothing happens at all
I guess Someone could fake "photos of WhatsApp messages and other photos" (as its described on Twitter) but it seems a lot of work to go to for something that could be easily disproved

Yes, nothing at all to say it's real yet.
I would have thought it'd have to come from somebody fairly senior to have access to all those kind of email addresses though.
If this stuff is both genuine & incriminating I do wonder how Red Bull thought they could get away with it. Clearly someone really, really wants to bring Horner down.
There's alleged images of some texts on Twitter....I wont share them here, but easy to find if you search.
