Nice to see the gov starting an advertising campaign on cyber security but there's clearly a lot of progress to be made both on the part of the user and equally importantly the manufacturers.
It's only going to get worse as everything goes online (the so called 'internet of things') and consumers will continue to fail to weigh up the trade-off between security and convenience.
Stories like this are good though as 'thinking of the children' is one of the better ways to galvanise people into action.
