Planning on making some cider next weekend and need a food grade plastic bucket for transferring apple juice. I've tried high street outlets and they mostly don't even know what you're talking about - where do I get one from?

Just use a cheap one from the pound shop or something then - it won't hurt you

You could try A.W.Smith Sundries in Birmingham, or possibly Scobie and Junor, both are butchers sundries suppliers, no idea on price mind.

Not really that expensive from this place, start at £3.87

What size??
You could always pop in the local (if it does food) or a local chippy/kebab shop, anywhere that does food really and ask the manager/chef if they have any that are getting chucked out. I used to give away loads of empty 20ltr fryer oil tubs with lids to those who wanted them.

Either a homebrew shop or try a Wilkinsons branch as some of those sell homebrew gear and have 25L buckets.

Edit: You think homebrew shops are too expensive ? £9 for a 25L bucket ?

Or how about a cold water steriliser for baby stuff?
