Anybody using an FM transmitter to play their music from their Samsun Galaxy S2 in the car?
Google turns up surprisingly few definitive results on the subject so it'd be really good to hear from somebody who's bought one and actually got it to work.
Shouldn't be any different from any other phone, I'd have thought. It works, but be prepared for interference every time the phone transmits or receives data. I have to stick mine into 'flight mode' otherwise it's unlistenable, even after ditching the transmitter and having it directly connected via phono sockets.
Most just work via the headphone socket, no? So they would work the same with any phone.
Is it an older car stereo?
3.5mm jack cable or A2DP might be preferable on a modern unit?
Yeah an old stereo, well 2002 anyway. No inputs on dash.
Any alternatives to FM transmitter if it suffers interference?
