I need to stop my windscreen wipers from squeaking before i head off for a 200mile drive to Heathrow this afternoon. Any tips?

For the record these are a brand new set of Bosch blades.

Vinegar on a rag, then wipe the blades down. Clean the screen with a decent glass cleaner too.

They might be worn out. New ones aren't pricey (usually).

How would a brand new set be worn out? Second the vinegar tip.

Missed the new bit... windscreen might be greasy - clean it and wipe the blades off.

Its oil and tar deposits on the screen, clean it properly as said and they'll make no noise.

Autoglym Fast Glass. Gets all the ground on dirt off the screen and wipers. You will see better as well as water balls rather than smears

Rain-X rain repellent - from Halfrauds, then you don't even need to use the wipers.

Just to double check, lift the wipers off the screen and then turn them on. If they make noise, it can be the pivots they mount on going stiff. I've had this with a couple of cars in the past. If not clean the blades and the screen and you should be ok.

Cut a spud in half. Rub it over your windscreen, leave it a couple of minutes then rinse it off. Water repellant on the cheap.

Rain X, works well but can worsen wiper judder in light rain. If you use rain X then expect not to use wipers in all but the worst rain, Just drive faster, works better the heavier the rain!
