Anyone ever been told off for this?

I have but years and years ago, doing some fairly major engine repairs on a RS Turbo that we had just destroyed. Was asked very politely to leave, several hours later we were then told rather forcefully to leave!
Got it running again though, 2 days later it was wrapped around a tree by my mates brother!
