More accurately, my first lesson in 18 years.

Stay off the roads in South Manchester tonight, the potential for carnage is high...

Oh noes. Will my attitude towards cyclists suddenly shift once behind the wheel? Should I practice screaming "road tax" as I pass people on bikes and flicking cigarette butts at them from open car windows, or does that only get taught in the later lessons?

Driving's easy. It's all the other bastads on the roads that's the problem.

Relax. Relax is key, its not your car, its his/hers so you don't have to worry about denting it. He/she will have control as well anyway. He/she will have seen MUCH worse learners than you. So relax.

Mine had me doing 50mph down a dual carriageway on my first ever lesson. I actually said to him afterwards 'do you know what you are doing'? ๐Ÿ˜†
