Did the latest software update (10.8.5) and now the vertical scroll bar on Firefox is only there intermittently - seems to effect all sites - anyone know how to get it back full-time?

I'm not guaranteeing this but I managed to fix a similar issue at work by turning off hardware acceleration in preferences for Firefox. I got the detail from a help guide on the internet but top of my head...
Preferences->Advanced Tab->General
And somewhere round there is use hardware acceleration. Untick that and see if it helps.
