I realize this is an MTB forum, but i know there are lots of you who are very computer savvy,has any body had/having the same problem,
Wife's new laptop running Vista,'hangs-up' on firefox after about 20-30mins of surfing and just stops, won't do anything,tried running in firefox safe mode to disable ad-ons, same!
It was fine this morning but then i reinstalled Zonealarm, AVG, and spybot as i don't trust Norton, and the problem started, i imagine its one of the above, but as they all work well on my tower (on XP!) I'm loathed to go back to IE and Norton, or Firefox without a bit more protection,any ideas please?
Did you manage to properly uninstall Norton?
It can be quite hard to get rid of all of it.
