Had been working fine but today I keep getting links opening twice (in new background tab as expected but also in the current tab, which is pissing me off)

I can grab a link with my left mouse button and drag it and, depending on the direction I drag it, open it in a new tab (and either go to that tab or leave in background) or save the link. (The addon I use is called "Easy dragtogo" if you use firefox & want to try it)
Trouble is that the browser has started to open the link in the current window as well (assuming that I'm just clicking on the link I guess). Hasn't done that before, even though I've been on FF4 for a few weeks now.
I admit it isn't quite the end of the world
