A nip in the air, leaves turning and falling, crows crowing, fruits on trees. Can we have some Summer first?!

Oddly, I'm more inspired to ride on days like this rather than the silly hot stuff we had a few weeks ago.

Either way, like most people, I'm going to work instead.

12.5 this morning in Burgundy, couple of wispy clouds, but hoping it's going to be a lovely day. Wife's birthday today so no riding but we may end up at the pool later

I dug out arm and knee warmers for this morning's commute as it was around 10 degrees. It was a pleasant ride though.

I noticed yesterday that some of the Oaks in Stirling Uni have a few leaves, just at the tips of branches, starting to turn...

Short sleeves and shorts on this morning's pre-work run, no signs of autumn here yet!

I nipped out for a ride early yesterday morning (Sunday) and had to wear my waterproof shorts, long sleeve jersey, Goretex jacket and winter socks!

It felt like early October. The trails were soaking wet and it was cold. This was in the North East. Definitely getting that autumnal vibe now.

Warm waters of  the Gulf Stream heating up the far west innit.

Here in the East, it's Baltic. 😉

Cold stones in Cold Stones cut.

Defiantly clinging onto the few summer days Harrogatshire had a few weeks ago, but sadly it’s now typical cool...

Autumn is definitely here in this part of the world.

Glad to be returning home to the micro climate that is the Sarf Carst soon.

I got rained on and my hands were cold when I arrived at work 🙁

How do Americans say Autumnal? Fallish?

Heh I was wondering that when I posted this thread. Unless it’s ‘Autumnal’ then they are wrong

I thought that! Quite the nip in the air on the arms this morning cycling to work

How strange, I looked out the window first thing  and my first thought was that the light had changed and it seemed more autumnal. Glad it’s not just me!

Yep, exactly this, gillet as well, there was a distinct chill in the air.

Running's different though, you xan run year round in shorts and a t.

Not sure about Autumnal, just feels nice to me. Still t-shirt weather, just not silly warm. Love Autumn apart from the nights drawing in.
