Just listened to Fleetwood Mac's The Chain.
It's basically two and a half minutes of intro to that bassline. 8)

Good grief. Three pages and we still haven't had this:

It's not really an intro, the song just starts, as good as it is.

Minor rant: why do people bother embedding videos of songs? If I'm going to listen to a song I'll continue to browse, hence navigating away from the page anyway.
I could open another STW tab but if I'm doing that I may as well open a tab from a link rather than the embedded video.

Reason for rant: I've got quite a bit I could contribute to music threads, but don't tend to as my 10+ yr old PC can't cope with all the embedded videos.

Can't believe we've got to page three and no-one has posted these:

Add this to fav intro's - I always imagine the shouts and cries at the beginning to represent a populace uprising against the tyranny of the present [s]regime [/s]government.

Just me then ๐Ÿ˜€

The Smiths - 'Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me'.

This is one of my all-time favourite songs, and favourite intros:

From 1977, Crazy On You, by Heart
And I can't begin to express how much I love this; a short intro into one of the great rock songs:

No One Knows, by QUOTSA
