As a percentage of my 260lbs, my 33lb bike is pretty light really.

BMI of 24.6 - 25.5lbs of Ti HT bike.

One thing that I would say, is that most people I know have such shi££y scales this makes both the BMI and bike weight a little suspect! Weight being 12:8 and 5:10:5 tall.

I'm the other way around, BMI 22.5 bike weight 28lbs, but was 22lbs when XC-racing.

Nicely balanced I think. Would like to loose another pound off the bike really, me and it together are over 11 stone!

WTF a BMI of 18.3???
27.1 vs 29lbs
Smack in the middle of "overweight", as is often discussed the BMI does not account for muscle (which is 20% denser than fat).

Having said that, I mentioned to a bike shop sales dude that I liked the look of the Intense Spider 2. He looked at me, considered his thoughts/words and then suggested the Tracer!

25.7 bmi vs 30lbs of bike.

But bmi is a very poor measure of fitness or health really

Some here are incredibly light!

I am 12:8 now and wish to be 12:00 in the summer. 7 years ago I was 11:7.
I've been 10:7 twice as an adult and people thought I was gaunt. You could even see all the striations in my back muscles, in particular.
Any lighter than a BMI of 20.5 and I'd look ill and under fed!
Oddly, I'd have to drop to a weight of 9:6 or less to be classified as underweight.
J'sus, I'd be a bag of bones were I to be a full 15lbs less than my lowest weight as an adult, that'd be a full 45 lbs less than I am now.
