Hi all,
Off to Wales with the sprogs for holiday. anyone recommend any trailer and tag-a-long friendly routes (10-15km) in the area? Or for that matter anything touristy worth seeing!

Cheers

Took the wife around Llyn Brenig last week. Virtually flat fire road for the most part with a little singletrack which can be bypassed by a mile on road instead. Pleasent scenery and doable by all the family. Proved popular when we were there.

There are plenty of routes the lon las eifion cycle path is great all trafic free can be combined with the highland railway and caernarfon castle for a great day out.Check out sustrands routes
Newbrough forest on anglesey a maze of fire roads and single track to get lost on.
Llangefni to malltraeth cycle path on anglesey is good too pubs at each end.
Plenty of narrow lanes to ride around on the LLeyn to find your own beach.
Hope the weathers good it makes the whole area better than being abroard. I have spent the past week teaching mountain biking to year 9 students just loving the sunshine 🙂

Sustrans.org.uk

They have a route planner , searchable on postcode, for any area, and downloadable maps.

Really liked this - beach/cafes etc at Barmouth flat track and crossing estuary.

Can also viait Portmeirion and Harlech castle (take the kids down the narrow road to the right) - - in the car even thats fun oneway - 1/3 I think ...
