Seeing some of the fake stuff in my business made me think of the Chinarello's.
Saw this fake MCB the other week, badged up as a top end circuit breaker (Merlin Gerin) but inside it's the equivalent of just sticking a 3" nail in your fuseboard.
How can you trust stuff even if it looks and feels right?
Fake

I bet the top one is from China, they will copy anything (badly) 👿
I bet both are from China
I bought some top-line bike stuff and I still fall off
How do I tell that it's fake ?
That looks bloody scary. Even the switch doesn't do anything
Time to start using your reputable local supplier rather than "cheap as anything" internet shops. There's a price for any product that you know is right, if its significantly cheaper then its probably not legit, and if its too expensive its something they're not interested in selling but feel obliged to.

Where do you think that the computer/ smartphone that you're using was made?
Taiwan. But hey, they all look the same, right?
Capitalism in action. What we need are lower taxes and less regulation. 😉
