Anyone any experience with AliExpress and fake shops?
I (thought I'd) bought a new Xiaomi phone on the 3rd Jan. Tracking says it was delivered on 12th which it wasn't and no missed delivery, no email/text confirming delivery day or anything like that.
I've raised a dispute and the seller immediately offered a £1 refund (which I assume if I accept means I can no longer claim the full refund).
Now looking at the Shop reviews, there's been a flurry of negative feedback saying the shop is fake and the tracking details are fakes as well.
Just wondering what AliExpress buyer protection is like? I paid on credit card so I guess I can go down that route if needed.
The dispute process is a little awkward but try that first.
Its worked for me before.
But one I bought a carbon fork with a bubble in it.... seller wouldn't refund, said it was cosmetic aliexpress dispute sided with seller.
I had to get my credit company to issue chargeback which they did no problem (amex).
