So, Mrs Feet serves up the family dinner and says to me "let me know, but you might have too much bacon" ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I just stared back at her in bewilderment

How is it possible to have too much bacon?????

do you do all-day breakfasts at your house?

No, but it's a bloody good idea!

Tonight was a 'use up whatever is left in the fridge before the weekly shop' type of affair.
I suspect this is because I'm off to Tokyo tomorrow and not back 'till next Wednesday. This means that Mrs Feet will buy all the nice 'bad for you food' that we don't normally have in the house, hence letting stocks run down.

What's the Japanese for 'all day breakfast'?

One of my sons favorite dinners, or teas as we call it, is 'breakfast for dinner' - a rare treat for him ๐Ÿ™‚

We do. Well, not just bacon, that'd be weird. Deliciously weird.

There's no bad time to have a fry up, unless you've had one for breakfast and dinner, and are now thinking about one for tea... Then you have bacon issues.

We had gammon steaks, egg and chips last night.

Like bacon, only chunkier. Heaven! ๐Ÿ˜€

What about an American style "burger" with pig for bread, instead of donuts or whatever it is they do?

Gammon steak bread, bacon filling, crispy bacon topping for the bacon (you know, for a bit of texture), and bacon dripping sauce.

Breakfast at dinnertime just add a good size dollop of mash instead of the fried bread.

I once had a bacon and mayo sandwich, but realised I'd run out of bread after starting to cook the bacon. So I just cooked some more bacon and used it instead of the bread.

There still wasn't "too much" bacon.

I didn't realise how much pork and bacon I ate until I was on holiday in Israel recently. There is nothing more boring and pointless than a kosher pizza. Things got worse, when we went to the Palestinian Authority, you couldn't get drink either.

No wonder they can't all get on over there.

There was an episode of Horizon recently where they said you lose two years of your life if you eat bacon every day.

Bargain.

Slightly OT but the Mill Inn in Mungrisdale does the BEST Gammon steak, eggs and chips that I have ever had. Go there. You HAVE TO! It's awesome. ๐Ÿ˜€

I love the thought of breakfast for dinner. That is indeed the work of genius! Even after filling my face with home made turkey fajitas, the thought of a bacon and black pudding roll has me salivating!

The merkans call it brinner. Possibly the only good merkanism ever.

The Horn Restaurant just south of Dundee does the best bacon rolls ever! Salty, crispy and piled on the bun until they can't get any more on. Yum! ๐Ÿ˜€

Take away chips egg bacon and beans, in a polystyrene tray from Cagneys cafe in Cowley.
The best breakfast/lunch/tea possible.

The trick with pizza in israel is to order one tomato pizza with stuff and then one cheese one and then magically combine them into non kosher calzone awesomeness.

Or just find the nearest 'Russian' Supermarket and buy bacon.

Learn from spending several months cooking for drillers who didn't care much for the 'foreign muck'

The last time I was in the states, Denny's were doing their 'baconalia' promotion. Bacon ice cream sundae anyone? I have to say, it was ****in' marvellous!

I forgot to mention the Pestle and Mortar deli in Blanefield north of Glasgow. They do the most amazing BLT sandwiches. No mayo but salad cream for old school awesomeness. It's a favourite mid ride haunt for me.

Its Full Fat Friday. I've just ordered an absolutely effing enormous (extra crispy) bacon, sausage and egg barm from the bakery down the road. You could feed a family of 4 on it for a week. I can devour it in seconds ๐Ÿ˜€

What you want is all day breakfast pizza! We had the odd pizza competition in my student house were I would make the bases and then we would compete on toppings. The all time best was the breakfast one with bacon, salami, black pudding, mozzarella and cheddar (and possibly a bit more stuff).

I owe a dept to bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, mushrooms, black puddin, toms and fried bread if it wasn't for them i wouldn't have had such a lucrative career as Jason Stathams body double.

One of my favourites is "Cowboy Dinner" - Bacon and Baked Beans. Although my youngest says she doesn't like bacon, we are awaiting the psychological analysis reports.

One hungover Saturday, my boyfriend and I had breakfast, brunch and brinner - a full cooked breakfast for every meal. It was a good day.
