In my life all I've won is a leather waistcoat on Hastings Rock which I didn't want and never collected.

A TAG McLaren P1 amplifier back in about 2000/2001.
Xbox360
Tickets to see Spiritualized in a tiny club as part of a (brewery sponsored, I think) "back to the bars" series of gigs. That was quite special, and genuinely one of those "can't buy it for money" prizes.
A CD for ringing in to some ludicrously easy comp on Phil Jupitus's brekkie show on 6music - it was not long before the whole "faked competitions" thing emerged, and it may well be that I was the only entrant since it later transpired that at least some 6music competitions were won by fake contestants because there were no real ones!
I also struggled to get rid of him (Jupitus) as he seemed to want to have a long conversation with me (on air) when I had kids to get up and dressed for school, porridge to make etc etc. I may have come across to listeners (if there were any) as a bit ungrateful...
Hungry Hungry Hippos.
RM.
Won the Bingo at Woolcoombe beach holiday park last year...

Backstage passes to see the All-****ing-mighty in 1994.
A Yamaha watch which I sold on ebay for a couple of hundred quid
A nice signed piece of original artwork from a card game I played, that I won in the national championships.
I won a spot on the Atherton experience at Antur last year, whilst that was pretty cool, the mahoosive box of 661 / One industries swag was the real cherry on the cake. The day was awesome, the BBQ was decent, and to top it all off it didn't rain all day!, I did snap by frame on the last run though 🙁
Gee wasn't at all like he's portrayed to be by some of the media, had a good chat with him about how DH fitness has changed over lunch and he was a genuine top bloke. Couldn't have been happier when he won the stripes again at the end of the season.
Still wearing the socks that were in the box, TBH they are probably the most worn item in my riding wardrobe!
Hmmm.. Do sporting endeavors count? I've won loads in Sailing, world champs n' all sorts.. kitwise: sails/foils/boards/board bags/wetsuits/dry suits/boots/gloves/wet gear/dry gear/charts/bin's/GPS units/hundreds of free entries into other competitions/flight tickets/hotel accom in some s****y places
But all that was hard earned, I had to learn my craft to get that lot.. so it wasn't free by any means..
And
Erm... won £15k in the lottery a good few years ago..
how DH fitness has changed over lunch

Won a mini cooper (original type) in a raffle.
Woke up next day with a stinking hangover thinking I'd imagined it, then looked out of my bedroom window and there it was 🙂

In the space of one month as a 14 (ish) year old I won a GT Avalanche (Saturday morning TV) and a pair of top of the range Reebok trainers (Bank of Scotland). Was pretty happy with that.

1000 condoms and a sex manual
😯 Aye Carumba! 😯
OH won a holiday to Mauritius - by entering a comp on the plane on the way back from Mauritius!
I won a mug and a few games in an old ZX mag
Also shirt, tie and cufflinks from Lewins on one of those drop your business card in the jar type affairs. Wasn't that surprised as I'd just bought two suits and a shed load of shirts from them and they "suggested" that it might be a good idea to drop the card in!
Not me but my dad won a car in the 90's. It was a bright red mk3 Ford Fiesta 1.6s
My brother won a weeks mtb holiday to Whistler but had no bike so blagged one from a local bike shop in Birmingham by getting an article about them placed in the local paper.
He also won a padi dive course and then a few months later won a dive holiday to Turkey.
I won a high end Denon car hifi from a motoring mag - it was actually worth more than the car I put it in!
It got nicked, and the insurance bought me a £500 Alpine, which got nicked out of my next car.
I gave up after that...
I won a rock once. I came second at my first ever real XC race a few years ago, in the Have-A-Go category at a round of the Brownbacks series at Lee Quarry. The rock was supposed to have an engraved brake rotor in it but they hadn't sorted them out for the fun cats and we were promised that they'd post them out later. I never got mine. Never won anything else because I moved up to the next category, and those boys were ridiculously fast.
Still got my rock though, pretty much the only thing I've ever won in a sporting event. 🙂
I've just remembered this one..not me but good story anyway.
I was sat next to my ex's father one day when he got a call from what sounded like a marketing/scam company telling him he'd won a 45 day luxury cruise. He was quite short with them, knowing something was fishy, and said something along the lines of "well just post my prize out to me then, thanks" and hung up.
Two weeks later a pack arrives at the house and it's a load of stuff about this 45 day luxury cruise and all he has to do is call this number to sort it out.
He is still completely unconvinced, but then spots the name of a laser company he recognised (he's an eye surgeon type) and the hairs go up on the back of his neck. He calls the number and sure enough he had actually won the thing...from sticking his details down while at a conference in Asia.
Prize was top spec, worth about $50k. He still shudders at how close he was to ignoring the whole thing!
2nd in a balloon race: £40 quid which i had to split with my brother.
a snowboard - which i gave to my brother
a rukkus t shirt in the bull heart raffle off here.
loads of stuff in WRT raffles. bag, gloves, STW subscription, alpkit gear
privateer subscription - didn't technically win that: just no-one else did so the organiser of K100 told me to email her and i got it!
Loads of stuff at the big bike bash. carbon bottle cages, seat posts etc etc.
pretty happy with that - just waiting for my little bro to win big on the lotto!
Long weekend in Nottingham
He said worth having....
An Airfix Saab Viggen
A Met Jetstream Helmet
Glow Worm X1 light (Tuesday Treats winner)
Still waiting for the Lotto.
A £4k Samsung TV at a charity auction in March.
It has yet to materialise….
A full SRAM CX1 Hydraulic groupset. My wife entered for me and didn't tell me until she got the email saying she'd won.
She hadn't quite realised that I then needed to build a new bike to put it on!
Tuesday treats off here about a year ago. A nice pair of POC knee pads - or rather two left sided POC kneepads that I wore a few times before I noticed 😀
Never did get round to getting in touch with the shop, but if anyone off here has two RIGHT side ones, I'd be please to swap one.
A very fancy looking Sony Ericson Smartphone, this was about iPhone 3G era and I think it might have been their first stab at it - I got it 2 weeks before the official release date and someone bought it off me for £500 before I even opened it.
A meal for 2 in our local pub, it came with such a long list of Ts and Cs I thought it would be a terrible miserly evening when they told me I couldn't have X or Y or have to buy a millions drinks or something, but it was actually very nice.
Not, 1, not 2 but 3! 1 day Surfing courses at Freshwater Beach just north of Sydney. The course promised you'd be standing up on the board by the middle of the afternoon, 3 times I did the course, not once ever did I manage to stand - I am to Surfing, what Mr. T is to indoor bowls.
An all expenses paid night in Celtic Manor for being awesome at my job, and on the night won an all expenses paid trip to London for being really awesome and a big bonus - I was made redundant 3 months later.
An MG TF 160R for a week, also for being awesome at my job, lots of bits fell off it, the best bits were the window swtiches which were identical to the ones in my 80's Golf - they didn't break.
25 quid on the lotto last week...
32 inch lcd tv back in 2007, our tv was about 20 years old and needed to warm up so it was a nice suprise
Some knee pads in MBR for a dislocated finger pic (they never sent me them though)
Ooh ooh, my gamecube! Charity raffle at work, the sort you really don't want to win because it's usually beans, or a bottle of vinegar wine, or something. Won a boxed gamecube with about 20 games, most of which were terrible but some of which were Rogue Squadron, metroid prime, zelda: wind waker, and SUPER MONKEY BALL!!1!
A wonderful wife and daughter, amazing what you can get if you win the life raffle. 😀
😀 Rules are rulesShe hadn't quite realised that I then needed to build a new bike to put it on!
I won a computer game. I found out a week after I had given up waiting and bought it.
I also won free flights for 2, a month before the airline went bust.

A wonderful wife and daughter, amazing what you can get if you win the life raffle.
Beat me to it. 😀

Then unfortunately I had to shoot my father with a crossbow for sleeping with one of them. 😆
£50 of WHSmith vouchers for a 'tell us about your holiday' Eurocamp comp when I was 11.
A few games from entering comps in computer mags (C64 era).
A whole Jordan F1 car front wing at the British GP.
A helmet for a MBR photo comp.
A massive SMEG fridge freezer which I've never used, sat in my parent's garage!
Not loads but all worth having at the time.
I have a few cycling prizes from earlier years, but the best win ever was at the SSUK in Bristol (2006?).
I won an engraved USE Joystick. I love it, it's never far from me in the worksop or when out at night. 🙂
When I came in on my second last lap I saw there wasn't time to get another 2 laps in, so I grabbed a couple of beers and my camera and went around chatting to spectators and marshals, took a million pics, fell over a few times on the rooty bits trying to ride while drinking my beer, generally had a good time and arrived seconds before the deadline so that the lap counted.
I didn't know there was a prize for the slowest lap.
Now if only other race organisers were on the ball like Shaggy and crew, think of the prizes I could have accumulated since then. 🙂
A flight on a vomit-comet is probably the best thing, for winning a video competition.
My (then 7 year old) daughter won 20 pairs of brake pads at the bike and outdoor show about 6 years ago. I gave her GBP 20 for the lot and she was happy.
I'm still using them (at a much reduced rate once I moved to California).
Riding trip for 2 to gore nz to do the moonshine trail race
I won a Giro Xen lid a few years ago for having MBR star letter. Thing is, I didn't send them a letter, they just copied and pasted a forum post and didn't tell me it'd been published. I only knew when someone told me it was in the mag. Took a bit of badgering for them to part with the lid as well.
Won a scooter, second prize was a mountain bike and I thought it obnoxious to trade down. The scooter was baby blue 😳 and it would take 3 months to get a licence (Singapore) so I sold it.
@bikebouy sports prizes are always hard earned 😉 Had a mate who missed out on a Rolex in the Middle Sea race by less than 5 mins, he was quite rightly gutted not least as he did the race 2 handed against fully crewed boats. Had another acquaintance who chartered a maxi for the Fastnet, the boat won two Rolex's and the contract said they went to the owner, he was really mad !
@epic - love that story, my kind of prize.
I won a motorized go kart in a raffle draw when I was about 11. loved it, used to destroy our lawn at home with it for a few years then sold it on for about £750 when I was about 15!
I won a Toshiba tablet a couple of years back, for filling in a library survey at the university. Funny thing, I wouldn't have normally bothered, except that I was really upset with the library.
I won my photo printed on every 1:25000 OS map of Edinburgh from here until eternity*.
*or until the next refresh of covers, whichever is sooner
Won a few bits and bobs;
A football in a painting competition, sadly I never had much interest in playing football,
A Muddy Fox Sorcerer mountain bike through a bike magazine. Muddy Fox then got in touch asking me to pay up!
Took some work to convince them I'd won it, and they really needed to get in touch with the magazine; fortunately I had the covering letter I could fax to them. Muppets.
A week-long trip to LA, courtesy of Simon Bates on Radio 1; part of a promotion for the video release of the movie Hackers, a different question asked every day, you posted in the answers, and waited in vain.
Except several months afterwards a nice lady phoned me at work, to tell me I'd won this competition.
Having totally forgotten everything about it, I just said thank you, that's great, and left it at that, thinking I'd got a copy of the video, and maybe an embroidered crew jacket or something.
Alarm bells started to ring when she phoned back a couple of days later to ask when would be the best time for me to take time off work!
Great holiday, hire car and a trip round Universal Studios included.
A really nice embroidered wool directors type jacket, video, clock and other gubbins to tie in with the video release of Dracula, the Tom Cruise version, through a TV promotion.
Still got the jacket, haven't worn it for a while, I must dig it [s]up[/s] out some time... 😉

Loved every one of the 254km, and the bike is fantastic.
Oh and Mountain Mayhem at the weekend. That was pretty cool too.
Won £3k's worth of Global Ti/carbon hardtail back in 2005.
Couple of years later won a pair of Crossmax ST wheels.
Nowt apart from those. 🙂
You lucky duckers!
I won £1000 on a scratch card that came free with a Wild Bean Cafe coffee. I brought and built my Dialled Alpine with it. I was in love. Never looked back.
I won a T-shirt from “Land of mud and glory” for the best crash at this years QECP Day-Night Enduro. 😳
Very nice it is too. 😀

A day thrashing the (then) new MR2 Roadster and Celica round Millbrook
A proper running machine - took three of us to get it upstairs.....
About it though....
I won a champagne dinner for two at the Dorchester in a raffle at the Big Bang Ball. Not a bean from the ernie bonds I've had for a lifetime.
