Some interesting penalties.

Zaza and Pelle take a bow. Shittest pens I've seen this year.

Gotta love Gigi Buffon. Total professional, went straight to the German players at the end to offer his hand.

The guy is class.

@binners:

No. Emphatically, no. Looked like my eldest 0.25 seconds before he pisses himself!

Yup should be on a coaching video. He was only subbed on for that. First and last kick I think

Pelle too - you start mind games with the goalie, you gotta hit the target not trundle a pea roller 3 yards wide!

France v Iceland (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! - ITV)

It's the feel good story of the tournament, and I worry it'll come to a crunching halt against the French. However, there's always a chance, and odds have been slashed on our new Viking overlords, so even the bookies are giving them a chance.

As alluded to, the game is on ITV, so maybe mute the audio to keep out the Alan Partridge-esque insights of Andy Townsend and Mark Poogatch.

I will be cheering for France, of course. Had a sneeky search for Wales tickets last night but nothing "sensible".

If Iceland could pop a goal in before half time, it would be just splendid.

Oops! Could be a cricket score this. Imagine what a side like this would have done to the England squad

I was going to have a bet on Payet scoring from outside the box. But of course I went for both teams to score in the first half.

Bum.

Another soft goal, one ball straight up the middle. As much as Iceland have capitulated under the pressure it shows quite how awful England where.

France to make a few subs, might as well rest players ahead of Germany in the SF.

I'd like to thank the Ref for reprimanding Pogba for a clean tackle, he went into overdrive for the next 20mins.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to put a load of money on Iceland.

....and to quit sniffing glue.

I'm off to go and kick a puffin.
