Can anyone recommend an ethical bank which provides all the usual retail banking services but does not behave like RBS, Barclays and Lloyds in terms of investment strategies and throwing money at directors?

Co-op, great customer service, rarely get the dreaded hold music and can pay in cash/cheques at the Post Office if there's no local branch.

Given all the bitching that has taken place on this forum about bankers I'm surprised this thread died so quickly. There again, people wouldn't have as much to moan about 🙄
