[Closed] England v Germany is it unpatriotic to bet against your own team?

Maybe it is, but that doesn't change the fact that my money is 10x safer.

Will it be a blinding show of talent and ball manipulation genius or just another embarrassing farce. That the fans, the weather, the coach and everything but the players are to blame for?

Can't wait to find out!

😀

Ooh, I been keeping my head down regarding my little wager on Germany, i do feel slightly guilty, but I just think there a better team. 😕

But yes it is unpatriotic!

Peter Cook used to bet against Tottenham Hotspur. He was a big spurs fan so either way he won.

I'm tempted to put some money on it tbh. I don't care about football, might as well try to make some money out of england being shite at it!

No makes sense to bet against England as you'll get better odds.
Although you should always hope that England win...

I feel sorry for the players, they look so stressed out and confused.

Not good to be off your game and off your head with tension.

Poor b@stards, never really stood a chance.

"I feel sorry for the players, they look so stressed out and confused."
I don't. The media will soon start bigging them up again as part of a mutual admiration society.
I'm glad England are out, I was getting fed-up with the quasi-pagan atmosphere, with the complete domination of public life.
Now I can relax and enjoy the tournament.
