Thinking of heading south of the Border to England in July. Is it worth it? Is there any riding? Where would you suggest?

Quantocks were very good but I think you need a friendly native to show you around.

Downland trails are nice in the summer. Heck, come July they may have dried out if we see some sun!

In the right places, England rivals any biking spot in the world. IMHO.

The quantocks was very different to the riding I have done in Scotland - whereas the dales and lake district is more familiar type of riding
