Anybody know what this means and how can I get it to work again. I may only send one email an hour so think something must be wrong. I am using outlook for email at the moment. Cheers

I suspect someone's using your servers to relay junk emails. But I'm not geeky enough to know for sure.

Your computer is part of a botnet firing out spam via your account. Disconnect it from the network and clean it ASAP.

What OS, what anti-virus/malware protection are you using right now?

Soap and water and an old toothbrush should do it

Personally I'd drop AVG and install the windows security essentials stuff, it's much lower footprint and seems to find a lot of stuff that neither AVG nor AVAST have in the past on my system. It's a free download.

I dunno if it is your puter, I've had this and it was coming from the server, change your email password pronto.

I think you need to look at your email server too, it may be that thathas been compromised rather than your pc.

What does Outlook connect to, is it a local email server? Do you have someone who is responsible for that?

Changing your password will only work if the malware is not on your PC, as it will likely be key logging. Simple for IT to determine where it's coming from, user should not be dealing with this.

Have you checked to see what emails are in your sent box?
