I'd like to make a little circuit that will (as cheaply as possible!) produce a ding! sound when a button is pressed. Like when you summon someone to the front desk of a hotel, for example. As I understand it, it's possible to generate simple sounds/tones with a circuit, but I wouldn't know where to start. I found this IC on eBay:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/121494027069?chn=ps

which apparently produces a "ding-dong" tone, which would be perfect if it were just the "ding". Is it possible to use this IC to get this output? I found the data sheet online but the circuit diagram means nothing to me ☹️

Or is there a better/simpler way of doing this?
