Just seen the lad on that awful 'Let's Dance' (I know, but Ms Spanner's watching it) programme on BBC1.
Never heard him before, but he did a live version of a song called 'Drunk' which could have been performed by Sir William himself.
Anyone else get the same impression, or is it just the co-codamol kicking in?
He is a good gingersinger,
I quite like lets dance because its terrible. I think its supposed to be.
Saw him in Camden a couple of years ago supporting Devlin (who was a letdown) and he was seriously good. Most of his radio-play stuff seems to be like he's been pushed into chart-friendly whimpering BS. Not sure about him now.
Mr Bragg's back catalogue and lyrical content takes some beating. I wouldn't put Ed Sheeran in the running for that prize.
This is good though:
This too:
Ed Shearan is ****.
