Hi all,

Question as title really. If you received an item which you felt did not match how it was advertised, and then seller agreed to refund you the it's cost and the postage to you if you post if back to them, would you also expect them to refund you the cost of sending it back to them?

Ta, Duane.

If you took it back to Tesco, would you want them to pay your petrol/bus fare?

I would want them to if it genuinely didn't match the description but I think ebay's T&Cs don't require them to.

If you complain enough yes they do. Asda avoid this by give you twice the value back of the faulty item

Depends, on many things but Paypal does not allow the seller to refund more than the monies originally paid.
