Any advice?

Got the code to go collect it etc. The shop has a receipt of some sort to say they had accepted delivery but they can't find it....

They were meant to be calling back tonight when the boss was in (tiny independent shop) but haven't bothered.

Anyone had anything similar to this? I'll do some googling but guessing it's the responsibility of eBay/ collect+ to resolve it?

Thanks guys.

Oh this sounds familiar! My wife has just gone through a month of back and forth with a shop and a seller.

We had a happy outcome as the shop miraculously found it in the end!

Speak to the boss in a very calm and friendly manner, you need them onside.

If the shop can't help it's down to the seller to make things good with you then claim back from any insurance they arranged.

No help to you but I had an even ‘better’ mess to deal with. Ordered from CRC and did collectplus. dispatch notification received but nothing else. Pop to local shop. Nothing with my name on it, pop back next day, same story but they produce this large box once I explain what I’m expecting. CRC had sent it addressed to the shop (not me) and not via collecplus. So they’d opened it assuming was for them.

They knew it wasn’t meant for them. Having explained the contents before they showed it to me, they accepted it was mine. But it wasn’t in collectplus and didn’t have my name so wouldn’t release it.

Several days of back and forth before they eventually do give me the parcel.

Forgot to update this.
Looks like the shop stw blameless.

Herpes basically lied and sent me the obligatory emails with collection codes etc .... Days before they even bothered to deliver it!

So, was down to them rather than shoddy service from the shop.
