Hopefully doing a Londo to Paris ride next June, and tacking a couple of days with family on at the end - flying home via easyjet into nearest local airport. Anyone got any ideas what Easyjets policy about carrying bikes is? Obviously would be boxed/bagged.

I DO!

EASYJET WEIGHT ALLOWANCE

Pay the bike charge and you can take;

20kg suitcase and 30kg bike bag

or

18kg suitcase and 32kg bike bag.

Bike bag can't weigh over 32kg, and your total can't be over 50kg

Any other item of sporting equipment only increases your total weight to 32kg- but bikes are treated better 😮

if you pay for a bike & a hold bag, you get 20kg ish for your hold bag & up to 32kg ish for the bike
the check in staff don't - however - always know the rules

The bike bag/box mustn't contain anything other than the bike

loads of threads on here with links to all the relevant bumph
