Any experts?
I have a Zetaboards forum and a GoDaddy domain (www.ivecoforums.com) that points to it.
Said forum has files for users to download, currently on a free download site (slow and popups/unders).
Bought hosting package from GoDaddy. Set up hosting to www.ivecoforums.com, then whilst it was setting up I realised I'd made a mistake as the domain is for the forum(?), and expected the domain to stop pointing to the forum.
After setup, all appeared fine and forum still accessible via domain. Set up sub domain (files.ivecoforums.com) thinking I could use that for the hosting, and the forum on the original domain.
Uploaded index.html test page. files.ivecoforums.com has not found/404 error.
Where have I gone wrong? Is there a fundamental flaw to my plan?
