The walls of our conservatory are beyond repair and need replaced. Our joiner is giong to prop up the slate roof and replace each wall with new redwood timber panels and new glazing. It's a listed building so it must be replaced like for like - white painted timber.
I've asked him to prime the timber before installation and I'll then paint them. So I need to choose a paint system.
I'm told oil-based paints are on the way out so I'm thinking of going with Dulux Weathershield. Does anyone have anything to say about the system good or bad.

I've used it on facia boards, it went on well and still looks good after 7 years.

Zinsser All Coat water based is superb. Primer, undercoat and top coat all in one. Screwfix do white and black fairly cheaply. Can be mixed in any colour too.
Weathershield's OK. Off the top of my head (and I could be wrong) make sure you read the tin as I seem to remember it being two undercoats and one top coat which is a bit unusual.
