What’s the best way after it’s been washed down following a covering of sudocreme?

You take photos.

Then we will worry about the minor stuff.
From the little you are given away...

You'll need a flag

I bought an air fryer on Saturday. It will dehydrate a cat in 8 hours if you can persuade it to stay still.

Same way you dry shoes, in the tumble dryer or a low oven.

What’s the best way to dry a cat

That's irrelevant.

What is relevant is what personal protection you require before starting to pin down the mog.

Hang it in the shed for 2 weeks in the summer with the dehumidifier going.

If that doesn't work submerge it in rice over night.

My dog sneaks upstairs and goes to sleep on our bed, which removes all the damp, grit, and random insects very effectively.

Give me your address and I'll send the undertaker to collect your body. If you aren't quick, the cat may have nibbled you.

A bit like the kids overheard on November 6th by their biology teacher. They were talking about shoving a banger up a cat's arse.

The teacher corrected them "Rectum, use the correct term please"

"Rectum? More like blew it to pieces..." came the reply....

Bury it in rice.

Mums cat came back from its scan after a sedation. He was really stoned.

We found him lying in his litter try. I think he got the idea to use it, but forgot what he was doing there and promptly went to sleep.

What a daftie 😆

Rage cage and blow drier, as per Canadian YouTuber "girl with the dogs" (who also grooms cats).

A cat isn't going to appreciate any method you choose.

They do seem to appreciate being put on a cushion in front of a fire.

And Gordon used to love a vigorous towelling, including having one looped under his tummy and pulled vigorously from side to side. Stan hates towels.

What ever method you choose, the cat will hold it against you forever and piss in your shoes when you let your guard down in 2 years….

I washed my British Shorhair once - big mistake - very dificult to dry - cat ended up shivering I seem to remember.

In the end we wrapped it in a rug and put a couple of microwaved heatbags around him, seemed to help as he was soon curled up and snoozing.

Our dog would never leave an uneaten insect in my bed.

Centrifugal force, just make sure you have enough room to swing a cat.

My dog only just about tollerates a bath, rinse in the shower, then a blow dry from a hair dryer, follwed by a towel wrap... he'll normally get agitated by that point and dry off on my bed...

So I tend to time deep-dog cleaning with when my bed clothes also need washing!

Good luck with a cat!

Or stuff it full of scrunched-up newspaper...

Tomography only works on male cats
